Not impossible to adjust March 25, 2010 Jonathan Selkirk (Darwin, NT, Australia) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
First of all I would like to state that this watch is NOT impossible to adjust.
It may be a problem if you don't have the manual yes, but all you have to do is
spend some time reading it and going through the procedures.
A rocket scientist I am not, and I had no problems adjusting all the settings
with just a little bit of patience. It's all too easy to complain about these types
of analogue watches. Most people make the wrong choice.
So, do NOT buy this watch if you are either impatient, hate gadgets or have poor eyesight.
This is one of the best looking analogue watches ever to grace a mans wrist.
Just be careful, becasue this G-shock is not everyones cup of tea, so choose carefully.
Outstanding comfort, highly accurate, extremely well made, and incredibly tough.
Remember people, when you buy a chronogragh analogue watch, the big second does not move
in normal time keeping. The smaller second hand in the bottom dial does.
People always complain about this I really don't understand why. Take the time to get familiar
with what you are buying, otherwise the watch gets blamed and incorrect reviews get posted damaging
the reputation of this fine timepiece. Enjoy.
utterly impossible to adjust March 14, 2010 Dr. Jonny Bowden (los angeles ca) 3 out of 5 found this review helpful
this is a great looking watch, durable and sporty.
it is ABSOLUTELY impossible to adjust
I'm pretty smart, pretty tech savy and have a graduate degree. I could not change the time, the time zone, or anything else on it.
and if you're over 20, you will not be able to see any of the microscopic words embedded inside the dial that you're supposed to be looking at when you change the time- which probably doesn't matter since you won't be able to change the time anyway
this is a perfect case of the IT guys designing something for themselves and not giving a crap about the general public.
Great looking watch if you have a full time computer whiz on staff to change the time for you
impossible to adjust February 1, 2010 D. Lyons (montgomery, al) 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
watch would be ok if you could just adjust it. I have had five people who are techno savvy try to adjust this watch with no results. It absolutely does not adjust according to the directions. date window is to small. I will not buy another casio analog
I Love it!! November 24, 2009 A. John 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Amazing product for <100$.
PROS:
Sexy watch with a sporty feel. Gadget freaks will love it.
The world time feature is just too cool.
Alarm is something that i havent used too much.
Same's true of the dual time.
The product gives you a feel of quality from the strap to the second hand alignment ...
Would certainly recommend this product.
Thumbs up
Overly Complicated November 1, 2009 Zeeshan Siddiqui (San Jose, CA USA) 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
Here are the pros and cons of this watch:
Pros:
It is a sturdy and nice looking watch.
Cons:
The watch is overly complicated to adjust time. Every time I need to do even a simple task like switch between day light savings time settings, I need to pull up the manual and toggle between pressing a whole bunch of buttons and just about when I am frustrated enough to smack it against the wall, it some how eventually works. Worst experience as far as adjustment of time.
The other thing I don't like is that the stop watch is not as simple to read as a digital watch but then since I opted for an analog watch (purely for the looks), its really my fault. I needed a watch to track my running and workout time. Wrong choice!
